It’s a long road,
but we are right beside you.

Free Counselling for you and your Family

We have faced the heartbreak of a difficult pregnancy and the loss of our child, and we understand how deeply emotional and challenging this journey can be. That’s why it is our mission to provide a compassionate and supportive space where you and your family can find comfort, guidance, and resources tailored to your unique needs.

As Friends of Fetal Medicine, Amazing Grace is also able to offer free counselling services to help you and your loved ones navigate these moments with care and understanding. Whether you are seeking emotional support during a high-risk pregnancy, grieving the loss of a little one, or looking for a community that truly understands, we are here to walk alongside you.

You don’t have to face this alone.

Get to know us

We’re a small charity with a big heart, shaped by personal experience and a shared commitment to supporting families through some of their most difficult moments.

Who are we?

Amazing Grace’ Friends of Fetal Medicine is a small, family run, charitable organisation that was established in January 2020.

We work with a team of fully trained and, registered counsellors to provide counselling to patients treated by Fetal Medicine and neo-natal departments at the Victoria Hospital who have been affected by pregnancy difficulties or loss.

Why do we do this?

After experiencing the loss of our daughter Grace in 2016, we wanted to thank the Fetal Medicine Unit for their incredible support and began fundraising. We discussed the possibility of providing a counselling service with the department and from this Amazing Grace was established.

Community Stories

Every journey through loss is unique, but no one should have to walk it alone. In this space, families share their experiences—not just of heartbreak, but of resilience, love, and connection. Whether you’re seeking comfort, understanding, or simply the reminder that others have been where you are, these stories help us all feel a little less alone.

COMING SOON!

We’re carefully preparing this space to honour the deeply personal stories shared by families within our community. Because of the sensitive nature of these experiences, we’re taking extra care to ensure each story is presented with the respect and compassion it deserves. Thank you for your patience as we create a safe and supportive place for these voices to be heard.

Real Stories, Real Healing

Taking that first step toward support can feel overwhelming—but you’re not alone. These heartfelt stories from families we’ve walked alongside speak to the courage it takes to reach out, and the comfort, hope, and healing that can follow. We hope their words offer you strength and reassurance as you consider your own path forward.

"After losing my child, I felt completely lost and overwhelmed. Reaching out to Amazing Grace was one of the hardest but best decisions I made. The therapy I received through them gave me a safe space to talk, cry, and slowly begin to heal. It didn’t take the pain away, but it helped me carry it. I’m deeply grateful for the kindness and support I received."
